Super 8 By Wyndham Copperas Cove

My son got locked in the bathroom while taking a shower. The manager had already told the owner about the problem, but the owner hadn't fixed it. The AC was blowing cold air without cooling the room, and it was the same in the next room they offered us. A third room smelled strongly of smoke, so we went to another hotel.

The second room had a broken lock too, and boot marks on the floor made it clear it hadn't been cleaned. There were cigarettes under the bed along with plastic silverware and other trash. I'd asked to move because the first room had water on the floor and a broken door lock.

The woman at the front desk was really nice, but the hotel itself was pretty bad. The sheets were stained, and both the toilet and tub were dirty. Worst of all, the whole room smelled like weed.

The first room's door wouldn't lock. I turned down a second room upstairs, but there was a problem with that one too. The floor was filthy and I found candy wrappers. The hotel didn't replace the coffee, and there was no breakfast or complimentary coffee. The office didn't open until 8. I asked for a full or partial refund, but they refused.
