Comfort Suites Coralville I-80

The pool and hot tub are quite nice, and the breakfast had a great variety compared with other hotels. But I've only been here an hour, and the lobby already reeks of an excessive amount of dollar tree raspberry spray mixed with a little mustiness. The hallway paint is peeling, and the bed is mediocre at best. At $190, this just isn't worth it.

After our son's surgery, we came back to an amazing home cooked meal, and the hotel also had a wonderful breakfast waiting for us each morning. I'd thought I'd packed all we could need, but I hadn't brought enough first aid supplies. I asked at the desk where the nearest open pharmacy was and explained what we needed. The ladies there went above and beyond and found supplies at the hotel, so I didn't have to leave my son. We stayed two nights in January 2026. Check-in went smoothly after we were greeted, and our room was immaculate, comfortable, and spacious, with a couch and two queen beds. Checkout was just as easy, and the staff thanked us for staying. The pool and hot tub were amazing too. We couldn't be more satisfied and will definitely return, even if just for a long weekend.

The pool was a bit chilly for my toddler, but it's a good size, and the hot tub was great. Our TV was broken when we arrived, and they replaced it right away. We had a great stay: the rooms were clean and spacious, with lots of room for our toddlers toys and pack n play. The beds were comfortable, and we'd definitely stay again!

The pool and cleanliness were great, and the staff were super nice. My main issue was the king bed being right by the heating and cooling unit. I couldn't sleep because the AC made the room too cold, but without it the room got much too warm. Maybe moving the bed to the other side, closer to the bathroom, would help. I'd like to make this a regular stop on our travels, but I need to be able to sleep. That's the whole point.
