The hotel was clean and seemed well looked after, and check-in and checkout were easy. Breakfast was quite nice, too. I slept badly, though, because the mattress was so uncomfortable I could feel the springs all night. There was also a mysterious $14.72 on my account. I called and they said there was no charge, and eventually it disappeared. Their EV charging is pricey as well. The Maverick convenience store down the road has a cheaper option.

I won't be staying here next time my family has a hospital procedure. The rooms weren't very clean: my daughter's squishy toy rolled under a side table, and underneath were broken hair ties, old fake nails, and about two inches of dust and dirt. The desk table felt sticky, like it hadn't been sprayed before being wiped, and there was a 1/16th inch drill bit in one of the beds. Breakfast wasn't much better. The waffles and cereal were okay, but the diced potatoes were pale and bland, like they'd been microwaved, the sausages were sweaty and sticky, and the scrambled eggs looked funky. They have a concession area, but an $8 cup of noodles or a regular candy bar for $4 feels steep. The hotel was a little expensive, doesn't take cash, and requires a $75 deposit.

Couldn't sleep with the fridge cycling loudly all night and the air conditioner roaring like a jet whenever it kicked in. The bathroom floor had hairs on it, and there was blood splatter on the wall beside the toilet. I wouldn't stay here again. The breakfast eggs tasted manufactured, though I'm not sure what they were.

We'd already prepaid for the room, and the staff still tried to get more money from my husband when we arrived, even though they knew I had a life or death procedure the next day. Completely inhumane and unforgivable.
