Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winchester

The location was decent and the staff were friendly, but loud neighbors woke us up repeatedly. Despite the no-smoking rule, we kept smelling smoke or weed throughout the day. We left extremely itchy. I can't tell whether it was the sheets, but I suspect the beds may have fleas, or that previous guests brought them in, since pets are often allowed. I'd steer clear unless you want to risk infesting your family.

Just off I-81, and it looks almost new. The room and beds were great, and I loved the hot shower. There's also an indoor pool and gym. The hot breakfast had a good range of choices, and the staff were so friendly that the whole place felt welcoming and relaxing. Very clean, too.

Dorsy gave us a list of nearby places to eat when we checked in, which was helpful. Reception was courteous at both check-in and checkout, and housekeeping kept our comfortable room in good shape. The location worked well. Breakfast was excellent and included, with free coffee available around the clock. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

That glass shower enclosure was fancier than the one at home! The bathrooms were exquisite. Microtel, this was another great Winchester stay: clean and comfortable, close to the highway but still quiet, with friendly, helpful staff, especially Mystic.
