We’re out more than $500 for the stay, and they won’t refund us. First there was a roach crawling across the floor last night, which my husband and I didn’t mention. Then this afternoon, I was naked and about to shower when the manager knocked, saying he smelled smoke. I told him he couldn’t come in while I was naked, and he said he’d return with police. They searched the room and found nothing. I don’t smoke. Less than five minutes later, we were told we had to leave, with no grounds for making us go. Now they’re asking for a pet deposit even though the front desk sign says “pets stay free.” They also claim I called the cleaning crew names, which I didn’t. I only told them they weren’t coming in. A staff member said, “oh you’re the one that caused problems yesterday. You’re so rude.” I answered, “yes I am, I am SO rude.” Maybe the cameras don’t work, because they would’ve caught that. Another thing to bring to corporate and add to my lawsuit. I’m still waiting to see the “policy” the manager keeps mentioning. And the toilet paper is thin.

Booking online was easy, and the location was convenient. Check-in went smoothly, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The sofa and chair, though, were disgustingly dirty. I wouldn’t sit on either, and I don’t think they’d ever been cleaned. Clean furniture would have made this a 5-star room for me.

The room felt underwhelming, and the front desk was snappy. The international staff didn’t respond when I tried to talk through the issues. There was a $100 deposit, and you might get it back. With rooms costing about half that, it felt like paying for a 3.5-star experience and getting only half the room.

The room was decent and clean, and the price was fair. The staff are why I’d come back. Crystal on the 3rd shift was awesome, and Christina on the 2nd shift was kind and really helpful. They went above and beyond with everything from check-in to ride share and room amenities. Thanks for the truck parking.
