Hampton Inn Corbin

Breakfast was a real plus for us. I love a big pot of oatmeal, and my husband and our two-year-old liked the waffles with two batter choices, cereal, and yogurt. As a tea drinker, I was glad the water was truly hot and that the dispensers were clearly labeled, so the hot water didn't taste like coffee left over from another day. The breakfast room was very clean. A worker was scrubbing the chairs and let the cleaner sit on the table long enough to work before wiping it down. Our room and bathroom were plain but modern, comfortable, and genuinely clean, which hasn't always been our experience in hotels since 2020. My husband checked in online and opened the room with his phone. We live in Georgia and often drive to Ohio to visit family. Since our son was born, we break up the trip, and we've stayed near Corbin before. This was our first Hampton Inn Corbin stay, and we'd choose it again if we need a place in Corbin. It's a good basic hotel for families.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and clearly put a lot into keeping the hotel well maintained. Everything was spotless. We were so impressed with how this place was run, it was one of the best hotel stays we've had in a long time. I'd give it above five stars if I could, and I'd absolutely book here again if I'm in the area.

The room was quiet and exceptionally clean. The breakfast space was just as spotless and well organized, and the coffee was great. The friendly team kept busy the whole time, with nobody standing around. I was really impressed with this Hampton Inn Corbin. Thanks to all of you.

A very pleasant woman brought us fresh towels quickly, but the housekeeping policy should've been explained much better. I booked our two-night stay by phone, and nobody mentioned at check-in that rooms are cleaned every other day or that we had to request daily service. There was no notice in the room either. When we came back around 4 p.m. the next day, our room hadn't been cleaned. I asked the desk if housekeeping was coming, and the clerk asked when we'd checked in and whether I'd requested cleaning. He said they'd only do it every other day, but housekeeping was about to leave. I asked for clean towels instead, and he agreed. On my way down the hall I got annoyed and went back, where I heard him laughing in the back room while the five-minute return sign was up. When he came back, I asked how I was meant to know about the policy, including whether it was listed online. He said he didn't know and just repeated, “that's how we do it here, sorry for the inconvenience.” I made the reservation by phone, so a heads-up at check-in or a note in the room would've helped.
