Hampton Inn Corinth

After our Airbnb turned out to be sketchy, I booked this place in a hurry on a road trip. We were told there weren't two rooms with queen beds available, but the manager came out and found rooms on the same floor. She said she was giving me a discount. My room was fine; the other one, where my mom and sister stayed, had a strong chemical smell. When my two sisters went to the lobby for water, we noticed two spots of blood sprayed across the wall. I'm a nurse, and there was a lot of it. I wanted to clean it, but my mom didn't want me touching it; we argued for a minute. I knew my older sister would have a mini cow, so my mom finally let me wipe it up quickly with makeup wipes before they got back. The rest of the night was uneventful. I probably should've gone to the front desk, but it was late and I worried we wouldn't get another room. Afterward, I kept wondering what had happened in there.
