I’ve spent plenty of nights in hotels as a flight attendant for a major U.S. carrier, but Sunny’s hospitality really stood out. I don’t know if I have her name spelled right, but it’s pronounced Sunny, and she was just as warm as the name suggests. She welcomed me from the moment I arrived and greeted me with that same smile the next morning when I left. I’d forgotten my phone charger and was about to go buy one when Sunny asked me to wait. She came back with one that fit my phone, saving me both a trip out into the cold and the cost of a charger. It might have seemed like a small favor to her, but it meant a lot to me and made the stay memorable. She could teach a class in real hospitality. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I hope to see you again next year.

I wouldn't recommend staying here until the place has been updated. There was rotten wood around the AC unit, several clumps of hair on the shower wall, and tiny pillows. The carpet and chairs in the shared areas were stained too. Breakfast was thin sausage, premade egg patties, waffles, and cereal.

We had a great weekend, visiting Dahlonega for the festival and Helen to see all the Octoberfest customs. The customer service was great, and breakfast was full. My room's spa jet worked perfectly, and I enjoyed my time there and around the area. The pool was closed because of a heater problem, though they said we could swim if we didn't mind cold water.

Debra and Sunny were wonderful, and I loved their personalities. The room had a bit of a musty smell at first, but the bed and pillows were really comfortable. I also appreciated the Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus the refrigerator and microwave. The TV was a good size, the room cooled quickly, and it was quiet. The shower pressure was nice, and the rounded curtain rod kept the curtain off me while I showered. The toilet had trouble flushing at first, then sorted itself out. Breakfast was simple. I was glad to see cream cheese, though I wish there had been bagels instead of bread, and eggs would have been a nice option. The pool room was hot, but the water felt cold and refreshing. It was a great stay, thank you!
