The only grassy spot for walking the dog is a walk away from the hotel, along the road, and it was covered in urine and feces. The smell was awful. We had to clean the truck carpets and wash everything to get rid of it. We needed a pet-friendly room after traveling for over 30 hours, so we stopped at the closest place to our destination. The staff were nice, but the first room was unacceptable: black mold covered the ceiling, it felt damp and gross, and there was a huge hole in the bathroom wall. I couldn't stay in there another second. They gave us another room right away. It looked freshly painted, but still felt unclean and poorly maintained. We were exhausted, so we slept and left as soon as we could. I wouldn't recommend this place unless there really is no other choice, and take bleach and Lysol. My family owned and ran a hotel for over 30 years, and there's no excuse for this lack of cleanliness.

We’ve been staying here since October. It’s not the fanciest place, but the staff are really nice. If something is wrong with your room, they’ll make sure you get another one 🧡🧡🧡

The manager accused my wife and me of smoking in our room, even though I swore to him we hadn't. He returned our $20 deposit, but still told us never to come back. The room next door had its alarm going off all night. That guy asked me for cigarettes while I was outside smoking, but he never lit one outside. If you smoke and the smell gets onto your clothes or belongings, don't stay here. If the manager really thought we smoked inside, why didn't he call Arlington PD? Smoking indoors is illegal. There's your clue, people!

We’ve enjoyed our stays at Motel 6 on I30 and 161. The staff have always been very helpful and polite, and pets are welcome too.

My son found this place because it was close to where we needed to be, but it’s not fit to be offered to the public. I booked at the Howard Johnson instead, and it was so much better. Motel 6 in Grand Prairie should be condemned.
