Our room was comfortable and clean, and the whole property was well cared for. The people working there were so welcoming. The front desk team helped us at both check-in and checkout, and the breakfast attendant was kind as well. We often stay at Hampton Inns and have had good experiences, and this location kept that up. We'd happily stay here again when traveling and recommend it to others.

The staff were all very friendly, and the room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. I was here for five nights on business and it worked well for what I needed. Good value all in all.

Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of it, and the location worked perfectly for us. The whole visit felt easy and relaxed, even with a soccer team of teenagers along. The staff were incredible, patient, kind, and accommodating from the minute we arrived. Check-in went smoothly, the rooms were spotless, and they handled requests for extra towels, late arrivals, and early breakfasts with a smile. If you're near Lake Norman with a group or on your own, Hampton Inn Lake Norman is a clean, friendly place to stay. Five stars for the staff, who made our trip wonderful.

We won't be bringing our team back for the remaining weeks of our job in town. Some front desk staff didn't know how to complete credit card authorization and failed to explain all the information we needed. They also wouldn't let us cancel a reservation and make other arrangements without a penalty, following that poor communication. I wouldn't recommend it for business travel with multiple employees.

The room missed a fifth star for me because of the bathroom's barn door. I like that style at home, but here it felt odd since it doesn't lock for privacy. Otherwise, the hotel was nice, and both the common areas and room were very clean.
