Suzanne, the innkeeper, makes a superb breakfast and tells great stories. The Inn is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and an easy walk from Market Street, where there are lovely restaurants and various taverns. The Corning Glass Museum is about a five-minute drive away. We had an extremely nice stay and plan to return.

Suzanne owns a beautifully appointed historic home that’s comfortable and convenient, and she can fill you in on Corning’s history, its glassworks and western art museums, and what’s happening with restaurants and entertainment in The Gaffer’s District. Breakfast is a sumptuous gourmet meal that sets you up for the day, whether you’re climbing the Watkins Glen Gorge or antiquing on Market Street. If you haven’t tried a bed and breakfast before, the Rosewood Inn is a great place to start.

I slept really well in a comfortable, spacious room, and breakfast was delicious. The inn is in a safe, quaint neighborhood within walking distance of Market Street. Suzanne is a charming, gracious host who thinks of little comforts that are often missed. She treated me like royalty and made my stay in Corning memorable.

Suzanne knows her antiques and the Corning area inside out, and after a tour she had tea and lemonade waiting, along with a lovely breakfast. She’s thought of just about everything to make guests comfortable and their visit memorable. It’s a lovely Victorian home a short walk from the Corning Glass Museum, and the owner and hostess is as gracious as can be. Suzanne feels like the wonderful aunt you wish you had.

For a low-key getaway, Suzanne’s bed and breakfast has comfortable beds, excellent Wi-Fi, delicious food and snacks, and a beautifully decorated old Victorian home. She’s gracious and accommodating, and takes allergies and sensitivities seriously. Don’t hesitate to book with Suzanne. You won’t regret it.
