Sycamore Springs

The grounds are lovely and peaceful, a great spot to relax and unwind. Our clean, cozy suite had a full kitchen, king size bed, satellite TV and free WIFI. The owners made us feel welcome and were very friendly. There are grills on-site, and restaurants, coffee shops and other venues are about a 10 minute drive away. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We were nervous at first about how low the price was, but once we arrived it was clear we'd found an incredible deal. I travel quite a bit in the US and abroad, and this is among the top 5 of the 300+ AIRbnb and hotel stays I've had. Shirley and Steve were kind and welcoming, and Shirley handled our changing arrival times and gave us great recommendations. Steve built much of the property and still works on it every day. They're a great team, and it was lovely to be greeted with friendly good mornings. We stayed in the Upstairs Suite, with a lovely outdoor deck and views. There was an outside BBQ, a full kitchen, condiments, and the usual household supplies, which I really appreciated. Having Ketchup for my fries and REAL CREAMER for my coffee made my day. The all wood cabin style had modern lighting and heating, plenty of room, and a very comfortable bed. It had a real AZ cowboy look, with fur and farm blankets hanging up and indian ceramic flatware. The property was beautiful, with lots of space to walk, fire pits, lounging areas, streams, two ponds, and big trees. We visited in the "ugliest" month and still thought it was amazing. There was plenty of nature and downward facing lights that let us see the stars clearly at night. Later in the day, little animals came out running around. The location sits between Cottonwood and Sedona, around 10 minutes from the heart of Sedona and 5 minutes from the shops at cornvill. It's right on the 89A, the main Sedona Highway, but far enough from the Sedona hikers, ATV and JEEP tour crowds to avoid their traffic. It's close enough to reach the city before you find a good radio station. The farthest major Vortex at Bell/Courthouse Mountains is about 25 minutes away. This was one of the most enjoyable stays I've had around Sedona. Thanks again Sycamore Springs, and I hope to see you again in May!!!

The grounds are beautiful, and the guest house was so cozy and extremely clean. Shirley and Steve were accommodating hosts. My husband and I will certainly be back. A wonderful place to relax.

We stumbled on this place while looking for cabins around Sedona for a weekend away, and really enjoyed our stay. The Tranquil Waters Villa was a two bedroom cabin with amazing views, and the real place is even better than the photos. There are trees and greenery everywhere, with ponds and streams or creeks right in front of the cabin. The hosts, Shirley & husband, were super hosts. The outdoor Spa has a great view and plenty of privacy. With just 3 cabins, it stays calm and quiet. It's a ranch among other ranches, not far from Sedona, and Cottonwood is nearby. We heard it looks gorgeous in fall, and we'd definitely like to visit again.
