Best Western Plus Suites Hotel Coronado Island

I placed one of my residents at the hotel as a third-party housing provider, from 1/12 to 1/14/26, because the apartment wasn't ready for them to return to. I extended the stay on 1/14/26 through checkout on 1/15/2026, and the card was charged right away. I also immediately returned the authorization form. The photo ID and front and back of the card weren't attached, and hotel staff only told me about the missing attachments at 11pm. I was asleep. When I said I'd resend them in the morning, they said they'd put my elderly resident out of the hotel. Why wait until 11pm to contact me when the original transaction was at check-in in the early afternoon? This resident had already spent two nights there, and they charged the card when I extended the stay. The company has used the hotel many times. Very poor customer service. Bad business!

A convenient, fairly priced place to stay on Coronado Island. Our room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was well above the usual American hotel standard. Having parking included was the best part, since that's rare in San Diego. Highly recommend!

We booked on a whim for one night in Coronado before heading to San Diego, and I wish we'd stayed longer. It was fantastic and we loved it. The breakfast had options I'd never seen at a hotel before, and the staff were so friendly. After long days, the little pool and hot tub were just right. It's on Orange Drive, about a mile from Coronado Beach and a few blocks from the ferry. We walked everywhere easily, and felt safe in a very clean place.

The room was roomy and clean, and the location suited what we wanted. Service was amazing, and breakfast included was much better than a typical continental one. First stay here, but it won't be my last. I really like this place.
