Comfort Suites Near Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi

The bed was very comfortable, with fresh-smelling clean linens and plenty of pillows, and everything else in the room worked well. The evening staff were attentive, respectful, and eager to make the stay pleasant. The facility itself was clean, sanitized, organized, and up to date, but my room wasn't clean enough. There was slime and other disgusting stuff on and inside the ice bucket, so I wouldn't use it for ice. Some towels also had questionable stains. The front desk took both complaints seriously, and they checked fresh towels before giving me replacements. Even with those problems, I strongly recommend the place for work, a getaway, or a quick rest.

My wife needs assistance getting around because she's handicapped, and I wasn't happy with this stay. I asked for a shower chair at check-in, but it never arrived. When I reminded the woman at the desk the next morning, she apologized and brought one within minutes, but it was in such bad shape that I wouldn't sit on it myself. The shower also had no hose attached to the head for bathing my wife, and the LED lights beside the bed didn't work. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time.

The rooms were quiet and very clean, and breakfast was really good for a motel. It was a nice stay all around.

The breakfast buffet had great bacon, and the room was clean. The price was good for our one-night stay, and the staff were friendly both at check-in and check-out.
