The noise was so bad that I packed up and left at midnight. Kids were running up and down the hall while their parents stayed in another room, and people were living there too. Never again.

The room was booked and paid for, but I waited nearly three hours and nobody came to give it to me. Calling the 800 number was a waste of time.

Cathy told me on the phone that the rooms just had basic needs, so I was a little intimidated, especially with the price and location, but I gave it a chance and can’t complain. This isn’t the nicest hotel or the best area, though it wasn’t that bad and it was clean. The employees treated me kindly and were courteous whenever I needed something. There’s a sense of community, with people meeting, socializing, and getting along. My room had what was promised. The bed and shower mattered most to me, and both were good. The fridge and stovetop worked fine, the AC was very cold, I saw no bugs, and the sheets and towels seemed new. I also had no noise issues from other guests. I was quite satisfied, especially at a better price than most other places. If I had suggestions, it could use a pool since it’s a family community, and my room could have used a lamp. I’d gladly stay again if I needed to.

This wasn’t a pleasant stay, and the price shouldn’t come with standards like these. The hotel looked worn out. The elevator worked, though we were told they were waiting on a part and we shouldn’t get stuck. My partner said the room didn’t look like the online picture; she expected a king bed, but it was queen size. It sat on a movable metal frame that squeaked whenever we moved. There was a live roach in the small drawer. After the first night we left towels out for housekeeping to exchange, but the room was still as we’d left it, apparently because there’s no daily service. I took the dirty towels downstairs, and the woman said the clean ones were in the dryer and wouldn’t be ready until later. She didn’t offer to bring any up, so we used our own.
