I ended up doing both, exploring and relaxing in my adorable suite, because there was so much to do nearby and I couldn’t decide between the two. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer this trip. Now that I’ve been, The Rosco Motel is definitely my spot for a little self-care and time out of the “zip code.” I have no doubt I’ll be back several times! I stayed at The Rosco Boutique Motel over the weekend in the cutest suite. It was a great price, very clean, friendly, and safe, with all the amenities for a comfortable stay and some unexpected personal touches. Going alone, I was a little concerned about where to stay, so I called the owner Amy to make my reservation instead of booking online. She had the sweetest personality and eased my concerns. I ran into her on Saturday, and she was just as genuinely sweet in person as she’d been on the phone. Ladies, if you want a fun, relaxing, safe getaway close to Rosco Village and Coshocton, with Zanesville a little farther down the road for shopping or some downtime in the room, The Rosco Motel is a great option if you don’t want a big chain motel. The hotel’s in a great location, and they made check-in easy by sending the instructions by text. It’s my first time in the area. The decor is nice, and the bed was very comfortable. I had an iron, which I needed, but there was no ironing board. The stylish light fixtures were too bright when switched on, and this type doesn’t need shades. There’s a nice firepit with chairs, but it was covered up and no wood was provided.

The new owners have completely renovated the rooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Our stay was perfect, and I’d definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommend.

We were a little nervous when we booked, but the room turned out clean, safe, and clearly redone. The shower seemed like an afterthought during the remodel and dripped all night. The snacks were a great touch, though. I’d recommend it if you need a clean place to sleep at a good price.

It was nice, clean, and well kept, but if you like watching TV in the evening, you might want to skip this place. There’s a decent sized TV, but no internet connection, so you can’t even watch it. I probably won’t stay again.
