OC Hotel Costa Mesa

The staff were wonderful and polite, and the other guests were pleasant too. Rooms are clean and cute, with a few modern touches. There’s a pool and hot tub at the back of the property. The included breakfast was decent, with pastries, bagels, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. I’m halfway through my stay and glad things went wrong at Ramada. After a not-so-pleasant check-in there, I came here at the last minute. At check-in, my bank had locked my card because I’d flown in from the East Coast and they were being extra cautious. The woman at the counter told me to take my time and offered coffee and snacks while I sorted it out with my bank. About half an hour later I was able to check in. The receptionist thoughtfully asked whether I wanted a ground-floor room or upstairs, and whether I’d like to be near the pool. What a pleasant surprise. Thank you, OC Hotel!

After a long workday, I found my room spotless, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. The staff were friendly and professional from check-in through checkout. I’d had a disappointing experience elsewhere before moving to the OC Hotel, and the difference was huge. I’ll definitely return for future business trips. Highly recommend.

As a solo female traveler, I felt good about staying here and have already come back once. The front desk staff were thoughtful, the lot was well lit, the doors had solid locks, and there was free filtered water in the lobby. The rooms were clean, the bedding looked new, and the showers had nice tile. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s a solid choice if you want somewhere clean and safe without spending too much. I’d definitely stay again.

We spent Valentine’s Day night here and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and decent. We’ll stay here again.
