The lodge was super clean, and Stephen arranged four guides for our group. They were all great. Mike and Jason guided me, thank you! Steve gave us great service and answered all our fishing questions well before the trip. Elizabeth cooked every meal just right, and the cookies were yummy. They were both polite and professional.

The fishing was so much fun, and we caught some huge ones. White River Inn was just right for our babymoon. The room was perfect, and Elizabeth’s food was incredible. She even kept everything gluten free, so I didn’t have to worry. Thanks to Steven and Elizabeth for a great trip. We can’t wait to go back and would definitely recommend it.

The best part of the lodge for my wife and me was its family oriented atmosphere. It preferably accommodates up to 10 people, and it’s the best Orvis endorsed property we’ve stayed at. The outdoor porch is huge and looks over the white river. Our rooms were very clean, roomy, and quiet, and the bath had a large shower and jacuzzi bath. Steve and Elisabeth Sonnamaker provided impeccable property management accommodations and service. Elizabeth cooked wonderful home meals, kept things clean, and was friendly to all the guests. Steve shared all the recommended information we needed for fishing on the white river and clearly has a lot of guest service and property management experience. The fishing guides were top notch and had years of experience on this river. My wife and I caught over 60 fish in one day and stopped counting. It was the greatest experience we’ve had. Whether you’re planning a fishing trip or just want to get away and relax, don’t hesitate to book here.

Moose and Tina are the owners, and their hospitality is the best thing about the place. They have an uncommon sense of what hospitality should be and live it every day. It felt like the way hospitality must have been 200 years ago, before corporate policies, mission statements, and quarterly reports. I could go on! This is an upscale, cozy mountain styled mini resort and a White River local legend. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses, hot tub access, and a huge shower, a real party shower. It overlooks the White River from a 300 foot cliff, straight down. Full fishing guide services and all meals are available, though those aren’t the best things about it. This is a must experience!

The White River views from the Inn were spectacular, and the place was clean and comfortable. Moose and Tina were great, and the food was fabulous with plenty of it. Moose arranged guides for our fishing trip, and Jason and Andrew kept my boys and me on fish all day. We had an incredible stay and will be back.
