We especially liked the pool, and the friendly goats were a fun touch. The whole resort-style place felt relaxing, and our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The four-star rating can be misleading since the bad reviews are from before the current owner took over and made major improvements. We'd happily come back! 😊

Being about 15 minutes from Sedona worked well for me. I liked having a private oasis away from all the tourist bustle, in my opinion. The campus is inspiring, with green pastures, gardens, mature trees, a saltwater pool, and adorable farm animals. Desert Rose has changed dramatically over the past 2 years under its new ownership. You can feel the love and attention to detail they've put into the place. Inside and out, it's honestly one of the nicest bed and breakfasts around.

The recent reviews make it clear this place has a whole new breath of life. It used to focus on AirBNB, but now the new people are running it as a longer-term holistic stay. The interior has been completely redone with modern, luxurious details. A beautiful spot to stay and recharge.

Easy to get to Sedona, and there are plenty of nice, tree-shaded places to hang out outside. The in-ground pool is a plus. The new owners have completely renovated the place, and it looks absolutely beautiful with a new vibe.

Sebastian was a good host. He generally kept to himself, but was only a call away, either at the house or by phone. Getting to 89A was easy, with Jerome and Sedona nearby. The Grand Canyon is about two or two and a half hours away. This is a simple, clean, neat B&B with the basic amenities and a couple of extras depending on the time of year, not a five-star hotel. Do grab some carrots from the dining room mini fridge to feed the llamas. There are only about 5 or 6 rooms, and loud late-night partying isn't allowed. It was very quiet both nights, and we slept fine. Everyone we met was pleasant, and all the guests were in bed by 11pm. Breakfast was served every morning from 8 to 9:30, with Mimosas on Sunday. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I was mistakenly given a different room after the Mid-size room I reserved went to another guest. I was offered the choice of having that couple move out or taking a set amount as a refund, and I chose the refund.
