Clover saved our week after we’d driven four hours. Another hotel had claimed to be pet friendly but wasn’t, and Clover found us a suitable room on short notice. They accommodated us and made us feel welcome. Having lived in the area before, it’s refreshing that some places still have Arizona Charm. The staff were all pleasant to deal with, and we even paid a few bucks less than at the hotel we’d originally planned to use. Unless something major happens, we’d definitely recommend Clover for an easy stay while exploring the area or just having a mini staycation.

The hotel is new and nice, with friendly, helpful staff and a convenient spot near everything. Running wasn’t ideal for me: I go over 6 miles daily, and a short 3 mile run was fine, but the rest of the area didn’t feel very safe to me because I saw loose dogs. If you don’t need to spend time outdoors, you should be fine.

The front desk staff were the best part of my stay. I never got the night shift person’s name, but they sent a birthday card to my room with a snack and drink voucher, which made the trip feel more special. The place was quiet and felt safe for me traveling solo, and Mavericks and a grocery store were close for quick errands while I was visiting Sedona for my birthday in November. The downside was a very unpleasant smell in my room when I first arrived. It eventually aired out after I turned on the AC.

The receptionist was friendly and quick to respond, and the location is convenient, about 30 minutes from Sedona. Everything felt new, clean, and pleasant. The hotel had just been built in January 2025, with laundry machines payable by phone and a new smart TV with streaming apps. Highly recommend it!
