The rooms were nice, and we loved staying in Cottonwood and the whole area. Staff were amazing, especially Travis, who helped with any issue that came up. The “sip and stay” special was amazing too. We’ll definitely come back!

This was our second visit, and my lovely bride booked us a birthday weekend. The location is clutch, with things to do in every direction. We enjoyed the clean room, comfortable bed, and sweet balcony for relaxing, reading, and soaking up the sun. The bathroom and shower had been updated and were generously sized. I appreciate that the tile work was done well, since it’s often botched. Complimentary coffee, drinks, and wine tasting deals helped give us some direction for milling around between breakfast and dinner.

After riding the Verde valley railroad, we went to the The Tavern. The hotel was very clean, and the front desk was helpful. Once we’d settled in, Old Town Cottonwood was just a block away, so we parked and walked around. I highly recommend the cottages. They were spectacular, very clean, and quiet.

The Tavern hotel was so cute, and the location was perfect. My husband and I had a great stay. We could walk to all the cute shops and restaurants, and Merkin winery is literally right next door. We’ll stay at the Tavern anytime we’re in cottonwood az.

I was there for a friend’s birthday. She stayed in the penthouse, and it was incredible. If you’re thinking of booking it, just do it, you won’t regret it. Every detail was immaculate, and the staff were amazing, especially Christine at the front desk.
