The small gym and decent breakfast were good, though breakfast should start earlier for the oilfield workers, who make up 90% of the customers. My main issue was the air conditioning. They go into your room every day and turn it off, so it was always hot. I ran it all night, and the room still wouldn’t even get to 80.

I’m with Texas Fueling Services and this is my fifth week here. It has a home-away-from-home feel, largely because the staff are excellent. They respond quickly to what you need and work around your schedule for housekeeping. It stays nice and quiet day and night. Every now and then the staff surprise you with catered food, and it’s excellent. I’d recommend it for a short or long stay. Come join TEXAS FUELING SERVICES and enjoy your stay. We do.

The rooms are comfortable, the AC worked great, and there’s a fridge, microwave, and flat-screen TV. Since the hotel sits a little way off the highway, traffic noise wasn’t an issue. We’ll stay again when we’re in the area. Thanks to Andy for sorting out my reservation. I’d booked online through choice, but it wasn’t showing on his computer. I had my confirmation email, so he let us into a room and contacted Choice. Once he got it straightened out, I went back to the front desk and signed their receipt.

I could hear other guests’ music through the thin walls, and the place had a strange smell, though it wasn’t cigarette smoke. My room wasn’t really dirty, but it could’ve been cleaner, and the safety bolt on the door didn’t work. There’s no truck parking, and getting food nearby means a long, hot walk.
