Quality Inn Covington

Breakfast was really good, and as someone with celiac disease, I was glad they had several gluten-free choices after I let them know ahead of time. The room was roomy and comfortable, and the whole place felt welcoming. I had a lovely stay and would gladly come back.

The room was small but very clean, the shower stayed hot, and parking right outside was easy. We paid a very low rate for our last night on the road after being away a long time. The woman at the front desk was so nice, and the location just past Atlanta on I-20 worked well. There was no internet, though, and we wondered if it might be a residential rental because she knew the man upstairs had his granddaughter staying overnight. Fair for a low price, but there are other places around too.

Breakfast was good, but the room needed a proper cleaning. Dust was sitting on the shelves above the fridge and in the drawers, and I couldn’t unpack my things. I also noticed a number of cobwebs. No idea when the ironing board was last cleaned, but it was really dirty.

The biggest drawbacks were the noise and parking. There’s no sound insulation, so we heard the people upstairs moving around until they went to bed, plus highway traffic all night. The spaces were worryingly narrow, especially for a pickup. It also seemed like quite a few guests were residents. Service was exceptional, and our room was neat and clean. There wasn’t a hot breakfast.
