Hampton Inn Cranbury

I’ve been here 12 days now, so I wanted to update my review. The place feels brand new, the room is practically spotless, and I haven’t found any flaws. The shower and king bed feel luxurious, and I’ve been sleeping really well. There’s a large Samsung TV set up so you can connect a computer to stream movies, shows, and video games. Everyone I’ve met has been nice. Brenda, the owner, is around often, genuinely smiling, greeting people, and asking how I and the other guests are doing. She seems to enjoy having the place and caring about the guests and staff. Anna works hard at breakfast, keeping the buffet stocked with good food and drinks, and the tables and floors clean and safe. Thanks to Brenda and Anna for a pleasant stay. Akash and the other people at the front desk have made booking, extending my stay, getting keys, and asking questions easy. I’ve stayed at hotels around NJ long enough to feel confident recommending this Hampton Inn as a good value, one of the newest and best in the area, with a nice owner and staff.

We left some jewelry behind after checking out. Halina was at the front desk when we called, and even though I may have the spelling of her name wrong, she went upstairs, found it quickly, and called us right back. She saved the day with her quick help. It’s great to see people who take the time to help, thanks again! The hotel was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the HVAC worked properly.

We spent two nights here and were really impressed. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were professional and helpful. Mira went above and beyond. Highly recommend, and I hope to come back.

The room fell short right away. Cleanliness, noise, and general upkeep all made the stay uncomfortable, and when I raised the issues, staff didn’t meaningfully address them. Their response afterward included claims about our behavior that weren’t true. Nobody in our party was disrespectful to staff, but management accused us of inappropriate conduct, offered no resolution, and even said we couldn’t book here again. Communication, professionalism, and accountability were seriously lacking. I’m going to report this to Hilton Corporate. I’d urge others to think twice before staying here, since there are many other area hotels that treat guests with much better service and respect.
