Old Town Inn

Cookies were waiting in the lobby when we arrived, and my room had a handwritten birthday card and chocolates, such a thoughtful surprise. Ben was also really helpful with ideas for things to do nearby. All those personal touches made the stay feel cozy. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially with local dining suggestions and ski logistics. Coffee was free and always seemed to be there when we wanted some. The warm, festive exterior got us into the Christmas spirit, and we’re already thinking about coming back next Christmas. We loved our stay at The Old Town Inn. It’s an easy walk to lots of good restaurants, with convenient parking if you need it. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt great, from the warm cookies to the soft classical music in the background.

What really made our stay was the staff. Every person we met was warm, friendly, and hardworking. When my husband accidentally booked our rooms twice, they graciously forgave the mistake instead of charging us, which many places might have done. We’d absolutely choose this place again when we’re in Crested Butte. It was easy to get downtown, and we could walk in ski boots to the bus for the slopes. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and the kids loved the afternoon cookies. We all enjoyed the hot tub too.

I was in town for work and called ahead, and Martin was incredibly friendly. I travel with my toy poodle, Sami, and we were both comfortable here. The bed was definitely comfortable, and the amenities were kept up well. In the morning I was happy to find delicious coffee and snacks in the breakfast area. Martin had even offered hot cookies the night I checked in. I also had a great conversation with GM Ben over breakfast snacks, talking about our shared snowboard and ski connections and experiences. He was awesome too. I’ll look into staying here more when I visit this winter.
