We came here on trips to the Ice Castles and really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the front desk, including Kevin, helped us with everything we needed. Frank, the hotel manager, was kind and helpful too. We loved seeing the Ice Festival outside our window, having a free parking garage within walking distance of the Ice Castles, and getting a delicious breakfast at Lombard’s. Thanks for a great visit!

The manager at the front was so welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions, which will definitely bring us back. The rooms were clean, the workers were friendly, and we loved our stay. A great experience all around!

I never expected to write a bad casino review, but this happened. I put a dollar into a penny machine beside the stairs to the bar while sitting next to my mother. It showed zero credits and the wheels never spun, and my mother saw the whole thing. After I told an attendant, it took about 30 minutes for them to open the machine, after resetting it. Then they had the audacity to tell me I’d played the dollar and they wouldn’t do anything. How could I have played when it still showed zero credits and never spun? It’s only a dollar, but I’m angry about being treated that way and want people to know. I’m glad I didn’t put a $20 bill in. I’ll never go back, and neither will anyone I know.

The front desk team at Double Eagle Casino was so friendly. There was lots of good conversation and such positive energy, it almost felt contagious. They’re wonderful people, not the negative Nancy types who hate their jobs or act like bullies. Where I live, it’s hard to strike up a conversation without it turning into an argument or something else when you’re just trying to befriend people. They give away a lot more than they take, that’s for sure. Thanks for all your help and everything you do, no matter what people say about you. Way to go, DOUBLE EAGLE FOR THE PEOPLE!

The restaurant food was good and came out quickly, and the GM, Frank, was as friendly and accommodating as could be. We had a terrific stay at this hotel and casino. The points system took a little time to figure out, but the hotel matched its pictures and was extremely quiet. For full disclosure, we visited on weekdays in late October, when it wasn’t very busy. We’ll be back!
