I was very happy with my room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, everything was clean, and it was quiet. I also liked how clean the casino was, its layout, and the range of games. I had some pretty good luck on most of the machines I played, including in the high limit room. The facility was non-smoking, which I appreciated. I arrived late after a short day, so I didn't get to try the main restaurants. A couple of complimentary bottles of water in the room would be a nice addition.

The rooms and casino were clean, and everyone was nice. The players card comes with perks, too. I didn't win, unfortunately, but still had fun at Mardi Gras.

The breakfast was excellent, and that's unusual for a casino. Definitely try a croissant, they're fresh and delicious! Most of the staff were friendly and nice. The guard at the casino entrance wasn't rude, just not very friendly. We stopped for the night while heading home from the Carolinas.

We went Friday and Saturday and found plenty to do: slots, live racing, a sportsbook, table games at $10-$15, and craps at $5-$10. It's smaller than some casino resorts, but there's a lot here, and it felt like a good place to have fun without blowing through your bank account. I love this casino. If that's what you're after, I'd pick Mardi Gras over Cherokee, Danville, or Bristol. The lobby smelled amazing, so I'm planning to try the cheeseburger next time and review it then.

A real West Virginia treasure. Our room was comfortable and super clean, and there were nice food options and plenty of slot choices. We're not high dollar players, but still had a great time without going over budget. We'll be back!
