Budget Inn and Suites

I spent about six weeks here for work and was happy with my stay. The staff treated me well, even after I locked myself out three times on the first night. My room was cleaned and given fresh towels every day, and the price was very affordable. There are some good restaurants nearby, plus Walmart and Planet Fitness, all maybe five minutes away. I travel a lot for work, and this place had what I needed. I'd recommend it to other workers from out of town.

I asked for a nonsmoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes. The floor and refrigerator were nasty, and the microwave was both dirty and not working. Definitely do not.

I paid for the room, but the card reader gave them trouble at first, so I showed the owner my bank balance. He removed the plastic cover from my key card, asked for it back, then threw it away. After that, he slammed the receipt on the counter, and his wife called me disrespectful. They were disrespectful to me, threatened to call the police, and told me to leave. I asked him to return my money and still haven't received it. I'm from Crowley, and he's not. He shouldn't be in business here, neither him nor her. This isn't over.

There were roaches and other bugs, and I never got a towel even after asking the woman who came around. The room also had no tissue, a broken toilet seat, a dirty tub, and a microwave that didn't work.
