Hyatt Centric Las Olas Ft Lauderdal

The restaurant is very good, and on this visit its glass doors were open onto the Las Olas patio. The waitstaff are great, and Direen, who has worked there for years, is always a highlight. She recognizes us from past stays and is so nice and efficient. We've stayed here several times over the past few years, and every visit has been consistently great. The front desk is friendly and professional, the cleaning staff are helpful, and the common areas are clean and modern. Our rooms have been comfortable, clean, and upscale, with no carpet, bright lighting, and large modern bathrooms and showers. They do a great job recognizing Globalist members. The pool and gym are very nice for a city hotel. It's in a great spot on Las Olas, beside the new park and riverwalk path, with shops and restaurants just steps away.

Mr. Jeffrey Katz, Director of Rooms, helped us enormously. He gave knowledgeable, mature, kind, patient, efficient, and effective support, and we especially want to thank him. The other Hyatt staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable as well. We were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious suite with a city view and lanai balcony. It was quiet, comfortable, and immaculately clean, and we enjoyed it so much that we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious at the restaurant, and dinner was good too. We had grilled salmon with fried rice, edamame, and other vegetables. Hyatt Centric Las Olas is close to the cruise ships and Ft. Lauderdale Airport, and shops, other restaurants, and attractions are an easy walk away. We had a lovely, comfortable, relaxing vacation. We'll book with them again when we're back in the Ft. Lauderdale area. It's the best!

I returned to Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale in February 2026, and the stay was just as amazing as my first, if not better. The team was warm, welcoming, and attentive all the way from check-in to checkout. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out for relaxing or getting work done. It was spotless and nicely prepared. I always enjoy staying here in Fort Lauderdale and already hope to be back soon. On my January 2026 visit, I also found the hotel very clean, modern, and well maintained. Check-in was smooth, with friendly and helpful staff. I liked spending time at the bar, where the service was attentive and personable and the atmosphere had a nice crowd. There are lots of restaurants, bars, and other places to explore within easy walking distance. Both stays were wonderful, and I'd happily recommend the hotel and return.

Rodricka and Peter at the front desk helped us extend our stay when a blizzard back home disrupted our plans. They also assisted with an item housekeeping had accidentally picked up that we were still hoping to get back. Update: William, another front desk manager, spent my whole travel day keeping me informed about the item, which had been found. I'm very grateful he went above and beyond. We booked three nights for a family event in South Florida and were immediately impressed by the beautiful hotel and friendly service. The food and coffee were super delicious, and the server at Harborwood restaurant was wonderful both times I ate there, though I didn't get her name. Alex, the barista, was extra friendly and made me delicious decaf lattes each day. Michael at the pool bar was accommodating, refilling our water bottles and bringing lunch out to us. The gym was one of the nicest and best equipped I've seen at any hotel, and I had great workouts. It was a top-notch stay, and I highly recommend Hyatt Centric Las Olas for a trip to South Florida.
