Hotel O Executive Inn & Suites Cuero Hwy 87

This was a good value for a basic, no-frills stay. My room was comfortable and clean, and it had the essentials. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There aren't fancy features, but it's a solid quiet place to rest if you're passing through.

We stayed with our family during Turkey Fest weekend in October 2024, and the room was a letdown from the moment I walked in. Roaches and crickets were already inside. One bed had sofa-sized pillows, and the linens were stained and yellow instead of white. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We did have a good time, because that's what us girls do, and the family room was a perfect size. The pool was decent too, but the sign said we could stay until 10 p.m. and the owner came down and told us to get out at 9 because that's when it closes. We had to borrow a vacuum to pick dead crickets and beetles off the floor, lol. I won't come back: the owner wasn't customer-friendly at all, and I don't want to have to clean my own hotel room.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the price would still bring me back. I'd just ask for a room without a bird nest nearby next time. On our second stay there were a couple of nests above our door and in the corner by our room. I'm terrified of birds, and the mother bird would fly at me whenever I opened the door, so I spent most of the time inside. The ice machine still didn't work either, just as it hadn't on our first visit when we had to buy a bag of ice. That first stay was the best: newly renovated, clean rooms, and the best price. The second room wasn't as clean or nice as the first.
