Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cumming near Northside Hospital Forsyth

I asked management for a set of sheets so I could change them myself, and the response was one of the rudest I've ever encountered. He questioned why I needed them and acted like I'd interrupted his nap, then handed me a queen set. I only realized it was the wrong size when I went back to make the bed. When I returned, he insisted it was correct. I asked him to come help make it fit since it was clearly not king dimensions, and he went to the back, then came back saying they had no king sheets left. I sat down and said I'd wait for them to be washed, because otherwise it looked like I'd have to change rooms. I met the GM the next morning and, wow. Unless you're housekeeping, I wouldn't have expected much. This complaint and their rudeness seem to mean nothing. I've worked in housekeeping for years and moved up to GM, so I know the work.

The heated indoor pool was the best part, and parking was easy with shopping and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, but it was on the first floor beside the staff room and staircase, so it was noisy and hard to sleep. We asked about changing rooms, but staff couldn't accommodate us. Breakfast was just okay, the eggs were gritty and the sausage patties overcooked.

Getting in and out is the biggest hassle because of the divided one-way highway, and the parking spaces are tight in a tight lot. The motel itself is clean and nice, with a good fitness center, indoor pool, and HBO. Heat and AC are controlled by a digital thermostat on the wall. The pillows are a little too soft, with hardly any firmness, though they do provide plenty.

The location was convenient, with lots of nearby places to eat, and the coffee was great. Country Inn & Suites was clean and nice, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a comfortable stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.
