The inside was smelly and dumpy, and the rooms were barely a step above a flop house, with cheap bedding. If you're bringing pets, watch out: the website says $25, then they charge a $200 pet fee deposit at check-in. What a scam. I'd look somewhere else.

For work travel, I'd stay again. The rooms have a small fridge, microwave, and cooktop, though there wasn't a coffee pot and the beds weren't very comfortable. The showers get very hot. For the price, it's not bad and could suit crews working nearby, but I wouldn't choose it for a family vacation.

My room and stay were fine, but the payment mess before check-in was frustrating. When I booked weeks earlier, I was told my card wouldn't be charged until I arrived. Then the hotel charged $105.87 before check-in. At the desk, they said no charge had been made and I still had to pay the full amount we'd agreed on online. I called my bank, and they said the hotel had charged me. Joe, the front desk rep, spoke with the bank and also said they hadn't charged the card. Luckily I had another way to pay. I disputed the charge and should get the money back.

The room itself was clean, and the refrigerator, two burner electric stove, and microwave were convenient. At check-in the clerk warned that cooking smells might come from long term tenants. The combination AC and heat worked well. The mattress was lumpy, with body depressions from use, and in the morning a bug in the shower darted away when I turned on the water. Ants were coming through a crack in the bathroom wall beside the tub, so fumigation is needed. The hallways had a musty chemical smell, which I suspect came from the carpet. It should be replaced with tile or some other material that doesn't hold odors.
