Spark by Hilton Daleville Roanoke North

We were happy with our one-night stop during a 900-mile drive. The bathroom was pristine, the place smelled clean, and getting in and out was easy. The front desk staff were friendly, and there are nice restaurants right in front of the hotel. We also had a nice view of the mountains. The price and quality were appreciated.

The renovation barely covered up the strong smell of smoke from previous cigarette smokers, even though the hotel says it’s smoke-free. It was so bad that we left after only a few hours of sleep. I don’t know why other travelers rated it so highly. It wasn’t good value for the money, and I wouldn’t come back.

I usually book Hamptons for breakfast, and the new Spark brand came pretty close. Breakfast had fresh bagels and muffins, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cold cereal, and Stash tea!!!! My last-minute room was only $89 with tax. I’d definitely stay again.

We had a very spacious room with two queen beds and a nice table that can extend. The through-wall AC unit is loud, but the room stays comfortable even after it’s switched off. Breakfast is simple, with coffee, bagels, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and similar items. There’s no microwave or coffee maker in the room.
