I’d call it a motel rather than a hotel, but the rooms are clean and well equipped, and the people earn extra stars with their attitude and actions. The manager and receptionist were very nice. My room’s AC stopped working at 7 a.m. as I was heading to work. By the time I got back around 5 p.m., they’d installed a new one and the room was cool. I’d recommend it.

I spent about two minutes in the room and wouldn’t recommend this place. The bed was much too small, there was hair on the back of the bathroom door, and both the shower head and nozzle were coming out of the wall. There was no running water in the room, and the sheets were covered in stains. The manager wouldn’t refund me, saying the rooms were clean, and didn’t even try to inspect the room.

The main thing that bothered me was the price. The staff seemed friendly and took care of what we needed, and the rooms were remodeled and clean. Our bathroom could’ve been cleaner and better stocked, though: there was no toilet paper, and we had just one soap and one shampoo.

The second room was somewhat better, but it still smelled of mildew. Maybe that was because the doors wouldn’t shut all the way and the air conditioner was dirty. The first room was the most disgusting I’ve ever seen: when I pulled back the covers, it looked like someone had given birth on the sheets. There was a moldy hole in the bathroom wall, the walls looked like they’d been painted with dirt, and there were bullet holes in the mirror. I switched rooms hoping it was just that one. When we asked for a refund, the woman at the front desk came into the room and told us not to touch anything. Honestly, the worst experience I’ve had.

I wouldn’t stay here again unless it were my last option. Every hotel nearby was booked, so I stopped here. The older man at the front desk was nice, and $70 for one night wasn’t too bad. But room #118 had several roaches on the wall and over the bed, which made me uneasy. When I checked the covers, all the pillows had blood or feces stains. I went back and politely asked to move, and the man happily put me in room #203, which was a completely different story. I saw no roaches there, and the sheets and pillows were clean and unstained. The TV was a good size and had lots of channels. All in all, not the worst stay, but not the best either. One tip: I’ve noticed in a lot of hotels and motels that non-smoking rooms tend to get a more thorough cleaning.
