The Hepburn Room had lots of lovely details, from its cozy antique bed to touches inspired by Audrey Hepburn. Sharing a bathroom with the Hemingway Room worked perfectly well for my one night there. You can also reserve those two rooms together for a private two bedroom suite. Since the bedrooms are upstairs, packing light is a good idea, though the house has just about everything you need to settle in. Elizabeth and her father, Chester, have made Beaumont House Bed and Breakfast feel warm and cared for. The restored 1830s antebellum house has historic character with modern comforts, and the whole place felt safe, clean, and welcoming. It’s a peaceful spot with the classic Southern feel I hoped for in Natchez. Downtown, the shops, restaurants, and riverfront are all a short walk away. I was there for one night earlier this month and already want to return. Next time I’d probably choose one of the larger Laura or Emily suites, both with private bathrooms. The Emily looks especially beautiful, with a spacious layout and elegant finishes.

Our rooms were clean and so nicely decorated, and we really enjoyed staying here. The Beaumont House itself is absolutely beautiful. Elizabeth and her Dad were incredibly sweet. We can’t wait to come back. Five stars plus!

The beds were comfy, and we had a delicious, really enjoyable breakfast. We got a very warm welcome, and the hostess knew the area well and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The location worked great too, within a 5 to 10 minute drive of anywhere we wanted to go in Natchez. I’d definitely recommend The Beaumont House to anyone visiting.

Breakfast at the B&B was delicious, and the house was even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It sits just at the edge of downtown, so everything is walkable, while the street itself is quaint and quiet. The fire department is just around the corner. I got up early for a run through town and along the riverfront, and there was a lovely Saturday morning market downtown. Highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was wonderful, thanks to Vera, who really is the pearl of the house. The rooms have charming themes, like Hemmingway and Audrey Hepburn, and staying there felt like a flashback to another time. We enjoyed ourselves so much. It was like fitting a whole week into 24 hours. After work, you might even run into Vera at the Under-the-Hill-Saloon.
