Comfort Inn & Suites Love Field - Dallas Market Center

I booked one night in Dallas for my daughter and son-in-law's birthday trip, and was extremely disappointed. The front desk was rude from the start. Within minutes of entering the first room, they saw a roach on the ceiling and asked for a refund because they didn't feel safe and didn't want to risk bringing roaches home to their children. Staff said a manager had to approve a refund and offered to move them instead. There was a roach in the second room too, within minutes, which clearly suggests an infestation. They left right away and still haven't heard from a manager. This place shouldn't be taking people's money while there's a roach problem. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

They charged me an extra deposit after I checked in, and when I looked at the bill there was another $43 charge on top of the $60 deposit I'd put down. I thought the $60 was something I could deal with, but when I asked why the extra $43 was there, all I got was, "I dont know." They said it should come back when the deposit is refunded, but it doesn't. They point to a sign saying they can keep the deposit if you don't ask about it, after you've already checked in. This hotel is A Conplete scam! They'll take your money and gaslight you like they don't know what they're doing. GARBAGE. Do Not Stay Here, literally anywhere else is a better choice!

The room was nice and large, with vaulted ceilings, and the third floor seemed fully renovated. The entryway had an open closet, drawers, and cabinets for storage. The bed and pillows were comfortable and had no feathers, and the AC worked great, which matters most in Texas. The microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and TV were standard but all worked fine. It could've used another chair or a suitcase rack. The bathroom was cramped. The door almost hit the toilet and needed a stopper on the hinge to keep it from hitting the glass shower door. They provided conditioner and shampoo, but they wouldn't stay on the shower holder, so I put them on the small shelf. There was lotion and two bars of soap too, I assume one for the sink and one for the shower. The curtains were decorative, with a silky privacy screen and a thicker canvas-like screen, but light still came in brightly. There was occasional highway noise. It was under renovation, with pallets of supplies taking some parking spots, but the inside was actually very clean. The lobby had a bodega-style area selling snacks and drinks. Breakfast ran 6am-9am, though I never woke up in time for it. The elevator was a little sketchy, but its inspection was up to date. The well-lit lot and glass sliding entry door that locks at night meant safety wasn't a concern. Great location, with friendly, attentive staff. Lots of places are close for ubering and getting around, and QT and Jack in the Box are within walking distance. Great value!

Cars were being broken into, and homeless people were sneaking in for breakfast. It didn't feel like a safe location. Vee, the front desk receptionist who also claimed to be the owner, was shockingly disrespectful and unprofessional. I'm nearly 70, and the elevators weren't working, so going up and down the stairs was painful. During the busy breakfast rush, I politely asked if there were any first-floor rooms. In front of other guests, she raised her voice at me and screamed that because I'd “paid a low rate,” they wouldn't switch my room. I tried to explain that the online rate wasn't up to me, but she kept escalating instead of helping or calmly explaining the situation. At checkout I saw Vee aggressively knocking on guest doors and loudly telling people it was time to leave. This was one of my most uncomfortable hotel experiences. I hope management reconsiders who represents its customer service. Seriously, spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere else.
