Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Love Field

The front desk staff were nice and always greeted us, and the coffee was surprisingly good and available whenever we wanted it. We stayed mainly because the hotel was close to my son’s graduation, but I’m not sure I’d return. The room needed a much better clean. There was a penny in the middle of the carpet and other trash around, so I don’t think it had been vacuumed. The bathroom was dirty, with mold, mildew, and scum in the shower. A housekeeper also complained to me that they were overworked and short-staffed. And the breakfast was sad, honestly the worst we’ve had at a Marriot chain hotel.

For the last two years, this has been my choice whenever I travel to Dallas. I’ve brought a large work group here for nearly two weeks at a time and used the meeting room, and each stay has gone smoothly. The staff, from management to housekeeping and maintenance, are friendly, polite, and efficient. The rooms are consistently clean, the gym is well equipped, and this may be the only Marriott property in Texas that upgrades my room based on my loyalty status and availability without me even asking. I wouldn’t trade it for another Dallas location.

The front desk staff were really nice and quick to help with whatever I needed. They even let me leave my car at the hotel while I flew out of love field, which saved me airport parking fees on a long trip. The room was very clean, and the bathroom soaps and shampoos were top notch compared with what some places provide. I’d recommend staying here.

The TV and internet kept cutting in and out because of a power outage the day before. Through all of that, my front desk agent STEVE stayed professional and welcoming. I hope the higher-ups see this and move Steve up to top management. I’ll pick this Fairfield again next time I’m in Dallas.
