We're staying at the Home2 Suites while my father-in-law is at the Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital, just a few blocks away. The free grocery and food deliveries have also been a nice convenience. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ours has a double bed, a pull-out couch bed, and a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and plates. That setup has helped since we've needed to stay much longer than planned. There's coin laundry on site too. The staff have made the stay great. Front desk employees are friendly and helpful, and housekeeping has been exceptional. The head of housekeeping asked when would be best to clean so they wouldn't interrupt my little kids' nap, which I really appreciate. They don't seem to mind when I ask for extra towels or trash bags, either. The breakfast bar has plenty of choices, so we're not eating the same thing every day. My only complaints are normal wear and tear in the busy areas, which probably means some renovations are due soon, and that a room with a bathtub would be useful for people with little babies, if one is available.

The location worked well for Deep Ellum, including the Dallas Comedy Club, and there was coffee available after checkout, which was handy before heading out. Breakfast was simple and fine, nothing special, and the bed was comfortable though it seemed a bit small for a queen. The hotel felt safe, modern, comfortable, and welcoming. Cleanliness stood out across the property, not just in the room. Even the elevators were spotless, a credit to housekeeping. We had a really good stay and I'd happily recommend it.

The location is handy for the hospital, but this place feels dated and the rooms are just adequate. Water pressure was very low, and after washing the water felt kind of slimy, maybe because of a water softener. Parking is in a shared garage and it's quite a walk from the lobby.

I wouldn't recommend this location. Parking is in a separate garage, with no connection to the hotel. You have to park on level 2, take the elevator down to the ground floor, then leave the garage and walk to the hotel. There's no security there, and coming back late after an event felt very unsafe. The setup is terrible. I moved to a different hotel a few blocks away after the first night. It had ground-level parking and evening security, and I felt safer in a nicer room.

I stayed three nights in September ('25), and everything was great. Breakfast was better than I expected, and there was a coffee and tea bar. My room had a nice kitchen area. It was an easy walk from DART, and getting an Uber was quick too.
