I had a very bad experience with Studio 6 Garland, Texas – Northeast. I’d paid in full for three nights, then called the front desk on February 6, 2026 to correct my mistake of booking for one guest instead of two. That should’ve been easy to fix, but the employee was rude and unhelpful. He refused to add the second guest and asked if the person was a “he or she,” which felt inappropriate and unnecessary. The way he handled it came across as discriminatory and homophobic, and I felt uncomfortable just trying to update my reservation. It was some of the worst customer service I’ve had, with no effort to help, no professionalism, and no respect. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The photos are extremely deceptive, and this place should be condemned. It’s in a sketchy area, surrounded by construction and barbed wire, which made me feel more scared, not safer. Even though the hotel was paid through booking.com, the desk guy demanded cash. Luckily I bought an insurance policy, so hopefully I can get my money back after he refused when booking contacted him. We managed to find a room somewhere else, but paying for two hotels put a damper on our stay. Not worth booking for $100 a night.

My wallet had been stolen, so I had someone who could help book a room for me. The hotel had a strange policy that the person booking would have to stay there too.

Don’t book here, especially through a third-party site. They didn’t honor our paid reservation, claimed they weren’t affiliated with the booking site, and then tried to charge us more while we were stuck there. We had to wait for a refund and look for another hotel at the last minute. Now we have no money and no room because everything is booked. I would give zero stars if I could. Don’t stay in this piece of crap place unless you want to end up in the same situation.
