The location is the one thing I liked, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby, so I’d avoid this one. I stayed five nights and left feeling sick, which I believe was from mold in the room. After I walked out one morning, my throat started hurting less within three minutes, and I felt better and less tired. The bathroom ceiling was moldy, and the shower was miserable. The water pressure was painfully strong, like being stabbed, so I didn’t want to stay under it for more than 3-5 minutes. Water got all over the floor no matter what, then the whole room stayed humid for about an hour. The room smelled awful, almost enough to taste. The sheets had gray and yellow stains, and the towels were stained and didn’t smell clean. I saw a few small bugs, though nothing extreme. Over those five days, I noticed a range of disgusting smells I’d never encountered before. It felt like the rooms hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. I have low standards for what counts as decent, but this was the absolute bottom. Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. I paid to get sick, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I may have nightmares about it. Horrible experience. There’s a picture of some of the mold in my room.

I woke up at 1:30 a.m. to banging on the security latch and front desk staff trying to get into my room. Someone apparently needed help with their bathroom but had given the wrong room number. I think it was an honest mistake, but as a woman traveling alone, I was too keyed up to fall asleep again for hours. They didn’t even knock first. The room itself was clean, but the whole place smelled like smoke, and I had a slight cough in my throat all night.

I cut my stay short, and I’d tell people not to check in. The hotel's own photos didn’t look anything like my actual room. This was the absolute pits, even by my pretty forgiving standards for a place that isn’t a luxury brand. The floor and walls were filthy, with kick marks, exposed plaster, and an old smear of Crest on the bathroom wall. Towels and sheets had mystery stains and stray hairs. The sink was cracked, and when I first used it, water made a muddy puddle on the bathroom floor. There was a filthy bucket to catch it, at least. The shower worked fine, which was a blessing. The room had a tiny prison-like bar of soap and a small stack of paper cups, with no other accessories. A daddy long legs was posted by the front door. The old refrigerator and aircon buzzed and clattered so loudly it sounded like a B-17 idling beside my bed. The final indignity was there being no Bible. I don’t normally reach for one in a hotel, but that night I wanted to pray for protection from bedbugs, deadly DNA, or whatever else might be lurking in the room or outside among the unsavory people drifting through the parking lot.

Harry checked us in and was wonderful, going out of his way to get us ice, plates, napkins, and whatever else we needed. They should really anchor the furniture, though. My husband is disabled and slid off the bed. It took us about an hour to work out how to get him back up.

This is the most frustrating place I’ve stayed. Other guests were allowed to party and keep people awake, and management wouldn’t do anything about it. I left partway through my stay. No refund, no apology, just an “oh well, figure it out.” The customer service was the worst. Spend your money somewhere else, or sleep in your car if you pass this place.
