Super 8 by Wyndham Dallas East

I left and went somewhere else after the man working last night yelled at me and told me to leave for no reason. He was rude and completely unprofessional. The customer service was so terrible that I'll never return, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

The room smelled overwhelmingly of mold from the moment I walked in. That evening, water came through the shower line hole and faucet hole in the tub from upstairs, which made me think there was probably mold behind the walls. The rooms also don't look like they do online, and the pool has been filled in, so it doesn't exist anymore. The floors and wall corners were dirty, and there were what looked like mouse turds along the wall by the sink. Both beds had blankets with cigarette burns, and the sheets had holes. The LG TV mounted on the wall was the nicest thing in the room. For this lack of quality, it wasn't worth the price.

I've stayed here a lot, and even though it looks sketchy, it's surprisingly chill and seems peaceful. I don't see sketchy activity outside the rooms, even when I'm sitting outside. The owner is usually out walking around the building with their grandchildren, day or night. Front rooms do get some highway traffic noise, though. The cleanliness is decent and the AC works great. The rooms could use renovation, but for what it costs per night, I'd recommend it.

The breakfast was a disappointment: just coffee, muffins, and an orange. They should have to say it's grab-and-go instead of letting people expect a full breakfast. The room itself was clean, but the TV remote was missing buttons and the shower wall was broken. I also had to borrow an iron from the front desk, and there was no board.
