The hotel was clean, staff were polite, and the price felt fair for what we got. The breakfast had a good range of options. It's close enough to downtown without downtown prices, and handy to the highway, though some noise from the location is to be expected. The Wi-Fi didn't work the first night but was fine the next day. Online booking makes you create a profile. I'd rather it ask about room preferences or accessibility than hobbies.

Plachette C. was the friendly, helpful person I needed at the front desk. Before I arrived, she gave me directions, then got me checked in late at night at the last minute after a long drive and a bad experience at another hotel, where my reservation had been cancelled. As a regional hospitality manager myself, I told her what had happened and thanked her for being so professional and welcoming. The property and rooms are clean and well kept, and the staff are accommodating. I'll choose this hotel again when I travel this way.

The front desk staff were consistently friendly and apologetic, but after this New Year's Eve stay, we're booking somewhere else for the event next time. We've come here every year because of the location. Check-in was fine, the staff were nice, and the parking setup worked well. The room was another story. For all four days, it was sweltering. The air conditioning only blew hot air no matter what temperature we set. Someone checked it on arrival and said it was fixed, but after dinner it was still blowing heat. We called again in the morning and heard it was being worked on. I finally went down to the desk to explain how miserable it was. A manager, I assume, came over and said they were waiting on a part. They offered no compensation until I asked for our stay to be comped, and then only offered 50%. He'd also mentioned someone else had slept in their car because their room was too hot. There were other problems too: dirty, stained floors throughout and a toilet that only flushed about half the time. I was trying not to be a Karen, but I don't book a hotel room to sleep in a sauna.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed during snowmagedon and Dallaska, and it's close to the hospital. The complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. I had trouble figuring out the TV.
