The Madison

We arrived tired after a long day of driving from Colorado, and the Madison still had me reaching for my camera as soon as we stepped into the quaint hotel. The room was cozy and lovely, and the staff were so sweet. I only wish we’d had more time to sit in the front courtyard or the front parlor, with its distinctive style. Such an inviting gem. I highly recommend it if you need a Dallas hotel.

The hotel’s design and artwork were gorgeous, and the beds were comfortable. I found this place through a chat search for somewhere near Bishop Arts. It’s 0.8 miles from Bishop art Road. Since it was hot, I drove, but finding parking was easy during our midweek visit. Everything felt just right, and the price was very reasonable.

Stephanie made remote check-in easy even though I was coming from a rural stay with barely any phone coverage and no Wi-Fi. She also offered helpful recommendations for where to go without me even having to ask. The Madison feels safe, the room was clean and quiet, and the shower was lovely. You get what you’d expect from an upscale chain, but with much more character. The lobby and the rest of the decor are gorgeous, distinctive, and clearly put together with care. The staff, especially Stephanie, were amazing, and they really understand customer service. 100/10, strongly recommend.

I booked after seeing the 4.9 rating and photos, and was very disappointed. This wouldn’t work for a business trip or anyone who needs a good night’s sleep. I could hear coughing, phone alarms, and conversations in other rooms because the walls and doors are so thin. It feels like a residential house converted into hotel rooms, and the layout and construction quality are terrible. The front desk staff were polite and great, and the place was clean and well cared for, but that didn’t make up for the noise.
