Mylo Hotel

I booked a queen room but got a full size bed instead. The front desk has also been replaced by a virtual assistant. It isn’t a star hotel. I do think the cleaning staff tried to keep things as clean as they could, and they deserve credit, but cleaning can’t undo the damage.

My building burned down about a week ago, and I was desperate to find somewhere for my family. I booked three nights at Mylo hotel, then got a call an hour later from HSA saying they would help us. I went to explain the situation at the hotel, but they told me that because I’d booked through Expedia, I had to deal with them. Expedia was very kind and tried to help, but the hotel wouldn’t. They refused to help when I went in person, even after I explained how hard things were and that my two kids, ages 9 and 7, needed that money for food. Anyone with a good heart could understand how difficult it is to be homeless with two small children, and how much uncertainty and stress a house fire brings. I’m devastated by the heartless responses from the people working there. The owners seemed to be in the office doing paperwork. They looked like a dad and two sons. I’d never come back or recommend this hotel, especially to anyone in a difficult situation like mine.

Mylo Hotel is a quiet getaway at the edge of San Francisco, close enough to the city but far enough away to breathe. It has a retro-vintage feel with modern comfort, and makes a great staycation escape.

The room was neat, and I slept great. The bed was really comfortable, the coffee machine was nice to have, and my room was near the ice machine, which was convenient. Customer service was good overall, and the lady and Jay helped me out. They’re open 24 hours. Parking was $10. There’s a 7 eleven and chevron around the hotel, and a Grocery Outlet not too far away. I’ll definitely come back.
