SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/Ringgold, GA

We’ve stayed here twice while passing through the area, and I wouldn’t choose another hotel. It’s spotless when you walk in and smells amazing, and the updated rooms are immaculate. My family sleeps great in the comfortable beds. Breakfast is included and was great. Every employee we met was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

In room 305, the A/C didn’t cool properly. I set it to 64, but the room never went below 75. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained incredibly slowly. I tried to mention the problems at checkout around 8:30 a.m., but after waiting several minutes, no one came to the desk. There was a basket on the counter telling guests to leave their key cards there to check out. I guess they didn’t want feedback about the room. 5

The staff were friendly and quick, and the place was spotless with that fresh, new-car smell. I travel a lot, and for the price this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. A great choice if you’re passing through.

Room 106 at Townplace Suites was near the lobby, and the staff we met were very nice. We liked that the hotel sat by itself up on a hill. There were cheaper places around, so $110 wasn’t the best price, but it still felt like a nice stay. We spotted a couple of dogs and wondered if they’d make noise, but we didn’t hear a thing. Maybe they were quiet, or maybe the walls blocked the sound well. If we’d brought a dog ourselves, we wouldn’t have thought twice about it, lol. This was the first stop on our 10-day vacation, and I didn’t take enough notes to remember all the details. I can’t recall breakfast, which probably means it was fine. Most hotel breakfasts are much the same. I think they had bananas, though, and this was the only one of the five hotels we stayed at on the trip that did. I eat a banana every day at home, so I ended up buying some at a grocery store later. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We’d definitely stay here again.
