The Beaumont Inn

Our Easter dinner at the Beaumont Inn turned into a really special experience. My friend's family was in Florida and my son couldn't visit, so we decided to go there for the holiday. Jenna at the Reception Desk welcomed us and answered our questions while we waited for our table. Morgan, our Main Server, went above and beyond, and Skyler, Allyson, Sage and Josh helped make the meal special too. Ashley, the Manager, took time to check that we had everything we needed. The whole staff moved like clockwork and made us feel welcome. I had the Salmon and my friend had the Chicken Scampi, both were awesome. The Carrot Cake for dessert was heavenly. It was an Easter to remember, and I highly recommend dinner at the Beaumont Inn. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The setting was beautiful, but it was carrying an overrated meal. At a recent wedding, the hors d' Oeuvres were all very nice, though they arrived too sporadically. The vegetables were done nicely, but the servers seemed rushed to clear tables during the long wait between the start and finish. The salad could've used more greens; it had a nice green tomato and one black olive, and crisp cucumbers helped somewhat. The chicken was very tough, dry, and overdone. The small serving of breaded (ugh), bland eggplant parm was bitter, and the cheese was beyond bland. I've had better eggplant at the nearby local diner. They need to learn how to make a true bolognese.

A wonderful upscale fine dining restaurant, with superb service. The French Onion Soup was excellent, the Chicken Marsala was great, and the Halibut looked fantastic.

The inn is gorgeous, and the Thanksgiving dinner was handled well despite the crowd. Anyone who likes beautiful old barrooms should make a visit to the bar.
