Hilton Garden Inn Danbury

The one thing I'd change is breakfast, which was very expensive for something that's basically free at other hotels. Apart from that, our three-night stay was great. The rooms were extremely clean, and Elizabeth at the front desk was friendly and really helpful. I'd stay here again.

Terrance helped me get a night refunded after I booked the wrong date. When I arrived at night and realized I'd missed my reservation, the staff were very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the service was great. Thanks again 🙂

We've stayed here on our Danbury visits before and will likely keep doing so. The renovated rooms were very clean and up to date, the staff were friendly, parking is plentiful, and it's only minutes from anywhere in Danbury. The breakfast itself was great, and Brian was a terrific server. There's some truck noise from I-84 on the front side, so ask for a room at the back if that's a concern. My four-star rating is about the breakfast setup and the Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond daily food and beverage credit. Yogurt is the only breakfast item under $10, while the other choices run about $16-17. There's no simple Continental option, and a $10-11 choice with basic baked goods would be useful. Also, this is one of the few Hilton brand hotels that doesn't count tips toward eligible food and beverage credit costs, which goes against Hilton F&B policy.

The staff are kind and know their stuff, but there is no pool on site. I chose this Hilton over another hotel because it showed a pool online, so that was disappointing. If you want to use the bar, it doesn't open until after 5, so bring your own drinks.
