The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our five-day, four-night trip, and we’ll definitely be back. Erica checked us in, showed us to our room, and asked whether we wanted pizza before or after the pontoon ride. Each day, guests could enjoy a lake ride, pizza, and dessert. We took three rides on Douglas Lake, each on a different route. Breakfast with the owner, Billy, was lovely too. He always told everyone he was honored to have us there. The resort is pet friendly.

We pulled in after realizing we had no cell service, and I’m so glad we did. The hospitality was beyond anything I expected, and the staff were incredibly sweet. It was an experience I’ll never forget, thanks to people who do their jobs with love and professionalism. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came across this gem on Lake Douglas while traveling, and we felt like family right away. Everyone was so nice, and the whole stay was amazing. We liked it enough to stay twice in one week. From the lake tour to dessert by candlelight, everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come back soon.

The rooms were comfortable, with a view over the mountains and lake, though they had some character and showed wear and tear. The owners and staff were great. We also enjoyed the included hour-long boat ride, with our customized pizza waiting when we got back, followed by an incredible dessert. I’d definitely stay again.

We spent our anniversary here on August 22 and 23rd. The views were fantastic, the rooms were gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly and willing to go out of their way for us. We’ll definitely return. Just be careful backing out of a parking space, since you end up going into the road.
