Comfort Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport South & Cruise Port

The lack of soundproofing was the biggest problem, especially at the connecting doors. On our last night, the neighbor kept their TV loud all night. The receptionist asked them to turn it down, but nothing changed, and we barely slept. The hotel should address noise so guests can rest. The suite was a nice bonus, and our room was clean. Breakfast was regularly refilled and had plenty of options. The property can get overcrowded during holidays, making it hard to find a seat in the restaurant area, and parking fills up too. Still, it’s a good place to stay in future, if the noise situation improves.

After a cruise, I needed somewhere near the airport for one night. Port hotels were extremely expensive because of the season, and this hotel’s location and price worked for me. The property was clean and in good condition, and the staff were very accommodating. The airport shuttle started at 5 a.m., which meant I didn’t need to book an Uber for my early flight. There aren’t many places to eat within walking distance, but there are a few options. I’d stay here again when I need to be near the airport.

The stay was okay for one night, maybe a 3.5. Check-out was chill. The room had a bed, couch, desk, and chair, plus shampoo and body wash. I wish the bed were softer, and I could hear the neighbor through the adjoining door. Breakfast was good, with fruit, sausage, waffles, bread, eggs, juice, and coffee. The airport shuttle stops at 11 p.m., so I had to get an Uber :(

The hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable, even though its rates were a little lower than most nearby places. The nightly price was competitive, and I chose it for the location near FLL and the free airport shuttle.
