Motel 6 Dania Beach

The room was at the back, so there was no street noise, and the neighbors were quiet. Check-in and checkout were both super fast. The floors were clean, though there was some built-up debris in the corners, and there were absolutely no insects. The bathtub looked antique and had cigarette burns and scratched enamel, but it was well cleaned. The place mixes old and modern: the walls were freshly painted medium gray with a high gloss, and the sink and counter were modern and clean. The bathroom doorknob screws were rusty, but functional and a little loose. There was live TV, but no cable, and the Wi-Fi worked most of the time. The pool had been drained. There was no soap, but I had brought my own. The sink drain had no cover, so I had to be careful not to drop anything smaller than a quarter into it. These issues were minor, and I’d stay again. I recommend the place, and I don't understand why people give it one star.

The outdoor areas were really dirty, and the place looked nothing like the photos on Google or the website. The rooms were very basic, with no refrigerator or bin, and the beds had only a simple, light sheet. The pool was closed. There weren't any places to sit while we waited what felt like forever to get our rooms. The employees were unpleasant and unhelpful, especially the woman at the desk, who was almost nasty. Very bad experience!

Our flight was delayed, so we needed somewhere at the last minute. We’re glad we found this place. Assistant manager Jamara was so kind and helpful, and really went above and beyond. The property felt clean and safe. The room was a little dated, but spotless and worked just fine. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

The location couldn't be better, so close to the beach, and the customer service was on point. Front desk agent rodini kept a positive attitude and served people with a smile, even when there was a full line. My daughters and I had an amazing trip, and I’ll definitely come back because of the service.
